1890's Antique German Silver Decanter STORCK & SINSHEIMER Enameled Green Glass
Antique rectangular decanter with silver overlay made by Storck & Sinsheimer of Hanau, Germany.
The green glass is in very good condition and crystal cut on the bottom.
Beautiful cupid design around the base and a fluted collared top, all done in repousse 800 silver.
Most of these were straight tops so the fluted top is considered rare.
Enameled flowers on both sides that are very pretty.
Cherubs around the sides are all intact and there is even more detail on the fluted top.
It dates to the late 1800's and is h
allmarked on the bottom.
No condition issues found except some wear and patina from time.
No stopper on top. This decanter is presented as found.
The bourbon hanging sign is signed on the back as Napier Silverplate. The decanter was found with the piece and is being sold with it.
Measures 9-1/2" tall to the top with a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" base.
Weighs about 2 lbs before shipping.
