DESCRIPTION
Vintage English sterling silver capped cut glass bottle by S W Smith & co of Birmingham, England. Fully hallmarked this typical Art Deco style trumpet vase is not engraved and could be initialed for the next owner. The bottle top and collar are both sterling and marked accordingly. The top is engine turned with a typical Deco style motif. The cut glass is heavily decorated and may be used as part of a vanity set for cotton wool or herbs.
Hallmarked: SWS & Co ( S W Smith & Co) Anchor (Birmingham city mark) lion passant (sterling mark) H (year mark 1932)
A great addition to any English sterling silver, vanity or Art Deco collection. This would make a great early birthday or housewarming gift.
MEASUREMENTS
Cut glass bottle measures 3.25" wide at the top by 6.75" tall and weighs 1lb 3oz.
CONDITION
In good condition with several fleabites throughout the base, (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
