    Description

    Antique HENRY MAHLER STERLING SILVER MARTINI SHAKER Raleigh, NC *RARE*.
    100 + year old martini cocktail shaker. The last picture is a brief history about the maker.
    A truly amazing piece for over a century year old.
    There is a crease in one of the spouts and I will be taking it to my silversmith to see how much of it can be removed. Other than that, no major damage. A couple of small dings towards the bottom that are barely noticeable.
    It is a notch and pin closure. See pictures for details. Basically the spout is turned a quarter turn to open and close the shaker. In the picture you will see the center hole where a small bolt and washer system would hold it together. I will be going to the hardware store and purchase the bolt, nut and washers that will hold it all together. I will be using stainless steel.
    The total height is 8 1/2 inches including the spout. The cup is 5 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
