Description
This antique oil and vinegar salad dressing cruet belonged to my grandmother, and features a signed Sterling silver ground stopper and etched "Oil" and "Vinegar" inscriptions, plus gold features and blue dots in a delicate design. This collector's item dates to about 1890-1900 and is in perfect condition. This rare treasure has the original stopper with Sterling hallmarks. (There are four hallmarks, perhaps British, 3 together and 1 after the numerals "2218D"). These may help in identification of the maker, the town, the country, and other details. You also see "Sterling" on the stopper. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, as always, and this will be carefully packed and shipped with full insurance.
