Antique Vanity Rouge Jar with Sterling Silver Top
Measures approx. 1.4" tall and 1.5" across the lid.
Silver top is fully hallmarked. There are four marks....the lion which stands for solid silver, the encircled W, "Sterling" and the #3572, a triangle which is the date mark for the year of 1913, next to the triangle is the #105 ..I do not know the meaning of this number.
The lid is octagonal shaped and has an engraved delicate floral design and a beautifully engraved monogram.
The glass has 12 panels with dots in between. The lid fits perfectly snug.
Lid and jar show very little wear. There is one cloudy spot along the rim with a fleabite size chip. No other flaws I can see.
