EARLY GD ? NORWEGIAN SILVER TASTEVIN HAND CHASED HANDLES NO MONOGRAM

Awaiting your purchase is this early silver tastevin crafted by GD ? in a wonderful handles in hand chased pattern. This special item remains in Very good condition, (see condition report above), and bears no monogram.
Appraiser Notes: A bit of a beautiful mystery, this piece, appears to be. Specifically, the date, which would normally refer to 1805, however, at that time the full four numbers would have been entered (1800-1810.) By the decoration, feel, and general appearance of this piece it strongly resembles a piece from the early 1700s and that is where we would date this, but cannot be certain. Of course, Sweden, at this time was part of Denmark, so difficult to say. Any help would be welcome!
