George III English Sterling Silver Hock Bottle Tag with Chain Hallmarked IR made 1815-16
Presented is a fine quality sterling silver Hock
bottle tag or label marked for silver English sterling silver with a makers mark of IR and a date mark for silver made 1815-16. I have posted a picture in the photos above for research on these marks. This label or tag has a great chain to hang over neck of bottle or decanter and is in beautiful condition with no dents or dings and only some fine scratches from gentle use and care. it is a fantastic collector’s piece for the silver collector and an excellent item for the collector of bar ware items.
