    Description

    This piece of Historical Souvenir China is 2.5 inches tall. It has no chips, cracks or hairlines. The gold flash has a couple spots with minor wear. Stamped on the bottom is  Made in Germany For  The Seven Gables Shop  Salem, Mass.  This house was made famous in 1851 by Nathaniel Hawthorne and his book about this Massachusetts town.  When this pitcher was produced the house was around 250 years old. It is currently celebrating its 351st year...wow!      Salem is in Essex County north of Boston and on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.                1219
