Incredible Sterling Silver  Black Starr & Frost Artillery Shell Thermos / Cocktail Shaker Piping Rock Horse Show Trophy from 1927. One of a kind, amazing piece, absolutely top quality and probably made by Gorham as a special order for the horse show in my opinion. I have never seen another artillery shell in sterling silver though i have seen similar Gorham shells in brass. This is an early example of an insulated interior and the opening is enamelled as can be seen in the pictures. There are multiple sterling drinking cups.
