    Description

    This is a c1910 photograph of a large group of Catholic school children on the steps with their Priest.  Each child is holding a diploma or perhaps it is a First Communion class.  The photo is signed "Rice, Quincy" at the bottom right.  The picture is 9 & 3/8" by 7 & 7/8" tucked into a cardboard "frame."  It is in excellent condition.  I am wondering why all the little boys in the front row have such unhappy expressions.
