Art Nouveau sterling silver flask. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Rectilinear body with gently wavy top and bottom and hinged and cork-lined cover. Fluid and dynamic acid-etched ornament: Entwined and scrolled flowering tendrils, and on front armorial motif with lion rampant and stylistically-integrated monogram on strapwork cartouche. Fully marked including maker's stamp, pattern no. 7283, and director's letter C (1902-7).
