Art Deco sterling silver cocktail shaker. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1922. Tapering bowl, curved shoulder, scroll-bracket handle, and short inset neck. Cover has flattish and overhanging top with cork plug. Spout stubby and tapering with built-in strainer; spout has cork plug. Fully marked including maker's stamp, pattern no. 20040 (first produced in 1922), director's letter m, and volume (2 pts). Good condition. Spout cap a replacement.
