Vintage MINIATURE STERLING OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE Mexico 1950 Signed MINT

Description

Beautiful Vintage Miniature Sterling Perfume Bottle, made in Mexico 1940-1950. Heavy Sterling Overlay, mint condition, with a stylized flower and leaf design different on the front and back, with glass bottle under the sterling overlay which is also perfect. No chips or cracks on the glass screw top.  Screw top sterling cover without dings or any damage.  No monograms, no monogram removal, no buffing.  Base is marked with a circular hallmark, JJG (maker) in the center with a circular Hecho en Mexico, 925 and I think, Taxco. There is another symbol outside of this hallmark but hard to read, it does have a 3 in it. From a Southern California estate, was purchased in the 1940-1950's.  Overall height  2"  H x  1 3/8" W x 3/8" D.  Oval base is 1" L x 3/8" W, sterling screw cap is 3/8" H x 3/8" diameter and is perfect.  I don't think it was ever used.
