VTG 70s sz M 8-10 JOSEPH MAGNIN hippie boho cocktail long dress artsy gown

Vintage JOSEPH MAGNIN long gown, looks 70s vintage with psychedelic fabric for skirting and black bodice, accented with costume jewelery faux belting. No size tag, but barely fits me, a size 10, so I would say it was an 8. Fabric is not stretchy so go by my measurements....  Laying flat on table, measures about 19" across chest and waist is about 15" across and Length from shoulders to hem is about 58" long.  This is a pre-serger sewn garment, with a metal back zipper and strangely, probably because of the high slit up the front, underneath actually had black shorts attached to the bodice at the waist. Someone cut the seams on the crotch open, perhaps it was too tight for them.  Anyway, none of that shows. For those who loved shopping at Joseph Magnin, this is a great addition to your collection!
